The Sensors Council Nominations Committee requests nominations for qualified individuals to fill the following Council officer positions for the 2017-2018 term:
- Vice-President for Finance (2-year term, renewable once)
The Nominations and Appointments Committee requires the following information on each candidate: 1. Candidate Name (as it should appear on all election materials), Business Title/Position, Business Name, Business Address, Preferred Phone, Mobile Phone, Email address. 2. Candidate CV and a brief statement, not to exceed 350 words, on the candidate’s prior achievements for the benefit of IEEE and IEEE Sensors Council. Explain the candidate’s strengths and how those will help in the candidate’s IEEE Sensors Council leadership position. 3. Statement of Candidacy, not to exceed 300 words: Candidate’s plans on using their office to strengthen the IEEE Sensors Council.
- Vice Chair Standards Committee (2017)
The Vice Chair shall be a member of any grade of the IEEE, except Student grade, or IEEE Society affiliates, and also a member of the IEEE-SA (IEEE-SA Standards Board Bylaws 5.2.1). The officers shall organize the Sponsor; oversee the Sponsor’s compliance with these Policies and Procedures; and submit proposed documents approved by the Sponsor (with supporting documentation) for appropriate review and approval by the IEEE-SA Standards Board.
