Sensors Council Young Professionals Concludes 2020 with Successful Events

The IEEE Sensors Council Young Professionals is a group of members and volunteers who have graduated from their first professional degree within the past 15 years. In Q3 and Q4 2020, the SC YP hosted several successful events. Read the event recaps below.

YP Sessions at the 2020 IEEE SENSORS Conference

During the conference, YP organized virtual meetings included a welcome reception, technical sessions, and a coffee table with experts (held jointly with Sensors Council WiSe).  The YP session co-chairs were Sten Vollebregt, Delft University of Technology and Saakshi Dhanekar, Indian Institute of Technology (Jodhpur), India.

The virtual YP reception allowed young professionals with technical and social networking opportunities. Attendees met many working colleagues in a variety of sensors fields and discussed future collaborations. The event was hosted by a professional MC and virtual games to engage the audience and build the attendees' networks. Excellent feedback was received from the participants. This was entirely financially supported by IEEE YP.
