Talk Title: Digital Health and AI: Learnings from three Deep-tech Start-ups

Abstract: The digital health and diagnostics space is undergoing a radical transformation especially post COVID. The conventional in-person, doctor consultations are rapidly being assisted/substituted by remote tele/video consultations and Direct to consumer care. In this context, point-of-care diagnostic solutions integrated with AI will transform the healthcare industry and will help in providing affordable health care to all. In this talk, I will first briefly discuss the general trends in digital health and AI and where future opportunities lie in terms of innovations. I will discuss our research efforts for the past 5+ years in the digital health space towards realizing devices for non-invasive BP, fatigue, and multi-parameter monitoring. Subsequently, I will share my technical and entrepreneurial journey and learnings as a part of three deep tech biomedical start-ups as CEO, CTO, and chief mentor role.
