Purpose: The IEEE Sensors Council NSW Chapter would like to invite researchers, scientists, engineers and practitioners to discuss and present their latest research findings, ideas, developments and applications in the area of Sensors, Instrumentation and Measurement Technologies and their applications in all areas of everyday life.

Objective: The objective of the workshop is to bring together industry and academia to learn about the work of fellow colleagues, share ideas and vision about the present challenges and opportunities in a number of industry sectors, and identify common areas for collaboration.

Sensors, measurements and instrumentation are core to everyday life ranging from healthcare to transport, energy, manufacturing, and food. The fields of sensors, measurements and instrumentation are strongly cross-disciplinary. There is a need for interactions among researchers, scientists, engineers and practitioners to discuss the technology, solutions, and applications of these fields. This Annual Workshop will provide opportunities for scientists and engineers from different disciplines to share their up-to-date knowledge and discuss their research findings and activities in these fields for the further improvement of quality of life.

In the regular sessions, there will be an opportunity for participants to present their research works, and during the workshop, there will be many opportunities for networking.
