The IEEE Sensors Council Young Professional Award is a service award, given annually to recognize the young professionals contributions to the growth of IEEE Sensors Council. The young professional contributions should within the fields of interest of the IEEE Sensors Council and its wide ranging activities. This award also recognizes young professionals' service to the council in furthering the goals of the IEEE Young Professionals program in the fields of interest of the Council. Eligible candidates must be an IEEE Young Professional at the time of the nomination deadline. The winner of this Sensors Council Award is presented with a plaque and a $2,000 check.
